Women & Sustainability is first and foremost a space for BIPOC women. The content on this website will, therfore, speak to first to their experiences. This intentional community building is what separates us from similar spaces producing content on sustainability, womanhood, and conscious living. While these said spaces mean well, they have an undeniable track record of causing harm due to their foundational cultures not prioritizing intersectionality. We keep BIPOC women safe by ensuring they feel seen and heard in all that we do.

We resist the notion that constantly working, producing, and creating to the detriment of one’s well-being are behaviors that should be encouraged. Instead, we encourage our community to use our space as a form of intentional recharging. BIPOC women face innumerable pressures to be in service to everyone all the time, and and such expectations are unaligned with our vision of a progressive future. Women & Sustainability want women to slow down in life and contribute to the deconstruction of systems inhibiting them to do so.

We are constantly aiming for authenticity and truth in everything we create. We do our best to extensively vet each person, brand and organization we work with. Fostering a community of honesty and responsibility is a fundamental priority and ask our community to always keep us accountable in doing so.
